Winter is coming, and with it Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s and (gasp) perhaps the five extra pounds the average person gains over the holiday season!  Add that on top of the calories we downed from the Halloween candy we pilfered our children shared with us.

Do you make New Year’s resolutions?  Is getting fit on your ‘to do’s’ for 2012?

If it is here is a gift you can get for yourself – Zumba Fitness 2 for the Wii.

A colorful adaptation of the fifteenth best-selling children’s book of all time, The Littlest Angel takes us on a rousing adventure with a young, and sometimes mischievous, Angel, who must return to earth and earn his wings, a task that doesn’t prove to be easy.  Children have loved this book since 1946, and I’m sure the movie will delight this next generation of children just as much.  This lively CGI animated version of the book is filled with both humor and heart.

I hope you have all enjoyed the posts I’ve shared about my time at the Kraft Innovations Kitchen and BlogEats Conference.

Rounding up this series of posts, I have a terrific giveaway featuring some of the products I featured on my blog and many, many more!

Trapped in a forgotten city, bound by secrets, Ellie and Bealomondore must enlist the dragons of the watch to find freedom.

I love DK Publishing as they produce all kinds of neat books for kids and grown ups that are just kids at heart.  In our home LEGO’s are prized possessions and my daughter and husband have quite the collection of assorted bricks and Star Wars LEGO kits.  So it was with great enthusiasm that I was able to participate in this blog campaign for two of DK Publishings LEGO books.

Disney’s 2007 animated feature film “Meet the Robinsons” is now available on 3D Blu-ray.

“Simply defined, the ‘grace effect’ is an observable phenomenon—that life is demonstrably better where authentic Christianity flourishes.”

What does Christianity give us beyond televangelists, potlucks, and bad basketball leagues?  Not much, according to the secular Left.  The world, they say, would be a better place without it.

Ten years ago I would have scoffed at the idea that a ‘premium’ air filter would make a difference in ones furnace.  I was more about being cheap than about being smart and cost-effective.

For the past couple of years I have chosen to go with photo greeting cards to send to family and friends at Christmas.

This year I had the privilege of ordering some from MyPublisher.com.  MyPublisher offers a nice variety of paper and printing choices.

I got to throw a Saturday gathering which allowed me the opportunity to share the new Crunchmasters Multi-Grain Crackers.  What was really great is not just the moms ate them, but the kids ate them too.
