As much as we wish it wasn’t reality, crime is always around us. Thankfully I’ve never personally been a victim of a home or car break-in, identity theft or other serious crimes. I have experienced vandalism to my home though and part of the reason why is because at the time we weren’t as vigilant or proactive as we could have been to prevent it.
As a Member of the Master Lock Live Secure Safety Squad, I’ve learned that a lot of crimes can be prevented with basic things we can do ourselves. Simply locking your doors and knowing who your neighbors are can help you be more secure in your home.
