You know I love traveling, and I have always wanted to go to New York (I don’t think being only in the JFK Airport counts). I’d love to see the sights, hear the sounds, ride the subway and experience the food! I’d love to recreate the atmosphere here at home, but have you ever tried to make South Dakota look and feel like New York? It’s a really hard thing to do…well maybe except for the food…

I got a chance to try a couple of different varieties of the New York Style Bagel Crisps, specifically the Roasted Garlic and the Mini BBQ ones. I’m a little embarrassed to admit that when they arrived in my home, I ate, ate, and ate. The intense flavor of the Roasted Garlic is incredible, it was hard to put the bag down.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but when you eat a bagel (even if it’s a “Crisp”), there’s something missing or at least it seems “naked” if it isn’t topped with something (even if it’s tasty all on its own).

And since the next day I still had ‘a few bagel crisps’ left in the bags, I changed it up a bit and spread some light whipped cream cheese on the Roasted Garlic ones. That was really good. I think that the Cinnamon Raisin variety would taste great with some cottage cheese, which would make a light, wholesome snack for those afternoon slumps! Or how about some almond butter and apple slices with the Sesame flavor?!

New York Style Bagel Crips are great to serve when you have a party at home. Kind of like a chip, a little like a cracker, their tastes and texture are sure to appeal to a lot of people. With The Mini varieties having 50% less fat and 18% fewer calories than potato chips. You could serve them with cheeses, hummus, a dip or salsa, and yes they are good even straight up! It’s simply a good snack. New York Style Bagel Crisps can bring a fresh mix of tastes to your gathering.

On the other side of the spectrum, with back to school arriving quickly – the Mini Bagel Crisps from New York Style would make super lunch box snacks for your kids, as a side to a larger meal.
