The weather is heating up and Fruttare Fruit & Juice Bars are a summer treat that you can feel good about indulging in.
If my many posts about Frozen Novelties in the past few weeks hasn’t clued you in yet, let me just say it again… I LOVE frozen treats. So when I was out the other day running some errands I picked up a couple of boxes of the Fruttare Fruit & Juice Bars. There’s enough to rave about when it comes to the taste of these frozen delights on a stick; there are a ton of flavors to choose from and the flavors are authentic. They’re a refreshing option for a hot summer day for kids and adults alike. But really my favorite reason to eat them…they’re low in calories. So you get to sacrifice none of the taste and incur no guilt after eating them.
So about those many flavors they come in – 10 in all! Flavors which were launched last year include:
Strawberry and Milk
Coconut and Milk
Banana and Milk
Peach and Milk
Strawberry
Mango
Lime
And this year they introduced three new ones:
Black Cherry
Pineapple
Strawberry and Milk and Mixed Berry and Milk variety pack
As you can see from the photos above we decided to try the Peaches & Milk and Black Cherry. The juice bars are so full of flavor and the ones combined with milk make it a real creamy treat. They’re both loaded with real fruit chunks too.

Since my husband is lactose intolerant we have to keep that in mind when purchasing icy treats. He enjoys sorbet but really loves Popsicles. Locally it's hard to find ones that are made with real juice, but these made with fruit puree are my favorites.
Those new flavors sound delicious! I've tried the coconut, banana, and strawberry before and have loved them all (in that order)!

The bits of fruit are just exploding out them, and the juiciness is incredible. They look sooooo good!
These bars are on sale at Safeway right now, and I love the Peaches and Milk flavor! It is so delicious and refreshing for a low calorie treat in the evening.

Yum! Popsicles seem like kid-food, but those appeal to me as much as they would my children. I love the real fruit chunks inside.
