With all the fanfare that accompanies a big game you’re probably aware that there is a HUGE soccer event being played out in Brazil later this month. That’s giving many fans a reason to celebrate. Johnson & Johnson and Walgreens are aware that celebrations don’t just need to be about the ‘big’ things, but that families can celebrate every goal this summertime no matter the size.
I woke up last week and realized this is the last summer we have together before we send our daughter into the wild blue yonder. One more. Just one last one, before she moves away.
This past year has been filled with many ‘lasts’ for us. So we’re planning a summer with all kinds of activities to celebrate the goal of ‘becoming a college student’ before we send her off in fall and I stocked up on healthy essentials to help us do that! I went to Walgreens and purchased Johnson & Johnson products like Band-Aids, Tylenol, Neosporin, Listerine, and Pecid AC to keep us on our A-game. (And you can see…we need a lot of help! LOL)
We have been doing things like taking walks to get shaved ice.
Breaking in new shoes while doing that is not advised!
We’re spending lazy Saturdays on the lake tubing with friends before the kids all part ways for college. Afterwards we’re spending time mitigating the pain from sunburns and not wearing water shoes.
We’re celebrating by having movie marathons and eating junk food. Keeping an effective antacid near by…because we know we’ll need it!
Realizing our baby has become a young lady has almost taken us by surprise. Getting ready for and attending formal recognition dinners to celebrate this coming of age milestone has been so much fun.
So what are you waiting for? Celebrate Every Goal This Summer with your family! Whether it’s first steps, a lost tooth, taking the training wheels off, a yellow belt achievement or reading a 300 page book – there are myriads of goals to celebrate. Celebrate one or two, or celebrate them all but either way Johnson & Johnson and Walgreens have what you need to celebrate those goals this summer.
If you are a Walgreens Balance Rewards Member (it’s free to sign up), you can earn 3,000 reward points with a $15 purchase of selected Johnson & Johnson products that are featured on the Celebrate Every Goal display at Walgreens. That’s like saving $3.00 on things you probably need for summertime anyway!
Leave a comment letting us know what goals your family will celebrate this summer. You can also join in the #CollectiveBias conversation by Tweeting and using the hashtag #CelebrateEveryGoal.
Isn't it tooo fast, how it all just goes by? It's heartbreaking 🙁
But I'm never going to "eat yellow sno" (lol at that sand creation) and I love how your daughter looks so much like both of you (hubby's eyes and your nose and mouth)…so cute!
Well, my niece is graduating and going to college in the Fall, but she will be staying at home with my sister while she goes to college. They grow up so fast, and your daughter is so cute! Walgreen's has tons of great products for the Summer! Congrats on your daughter going to college.
What a great thing to celebrate this summer!
Goals this summer! Hmmm…..grow lots of veggies for our CSA and to put up for our family's use during the winter!
This was awesome to read… even the little things we should celebrate, even if they are silly! Enjoy your summer!
What a great way to celebrate this summer! Congrats on your daughter going to college.
I love how you are embracing summer with your daughter before she becomes an official college student. It is great to be prepared for all types of scenarios, even the ouchie ones like that killer sunburn!
What a great idea for summer. Kids grow up too quickly. My daughter is a junior in college & my son a junior in highschool. Soon to be seniors. Wow.
Sounds like everything needed for summer and all year long! I use these same products on my family too!
You almost made me cry. I remember those summers so many lasts that your heart is about to burst and you think where did my baby go? Savor every moment but trust me its not the end its just the end of life as you knew it 🙂 Its wonderful that Walgreens can help but Mom you got this!! Your daughter is a beautiful young lady. Thank you for sharing and enjoy your summer!
Oh man, looks like you're beating the poor girl up! Maybe you're trying to chase her away early? 😉 I both look forward to and dread those milestones like my kids leaving home.
I love that you have so many great things to celebrate… and the memories you are making is such a gift for each of you. This Summer I have taken over the grill and I am determined to master it. I am home more, so it just makes sense! #client
That sand castle creation is too funny! 🙂
My goal is to make it through the summer without shooting my kids. JUST KIDDING! Our biggest goal is just to have fun.
My baby will be traveling by herself for the first time this summer! She's never flown by herself let alone across the country. She'll be with my sister (who she's traveling to to visit) but still! Thanks for tips on being prepared for anything!

I love finding excuses to celebrate everyday. Kids grow up so quickly, you've got to make memories every chance you get.
Aw this is sweet. My mom wasn't really there for me in my life and I know if we have kids I want to make lasting memories all the time! I want them to know how loved they are and special!!
The best goal. Just to have fun. Nice
