I don’t know a woman out there who doesn’t want healthy, flawless skin.  Many people don’t believe me when I tell them I’m 40.  They say I look so young.  Really, I think it’s my height, because I’m so petite people just naturally gauge me to be younger than I am.  LOOK at my face I say (and my grey hair!), you don’t need a magnifying glass to see the fine lines that are starting to show up.

Monsia has done the research to find what truly causes the skin to prematurely age and how to delay, minimize and even reverse the signs of aging.  One can prevent, repair and even reverse the effects of aging and skin damage.  But vibrant, youthful and healthy skin starts with good skin care.

Monsia approached me and ask if I’d like to review their Advanced Skin Renewal System.  A chance to rollback the clock a dozen or more years on my face?  Sure I’d give it a go.  So they sent me some samples of their products and I’d like to share with you what I experienced with them.

The Monsia Advanced Skin Renewal System includes the following:

Daily Facial Cleanser

The first step in the Monsia Renewal System.  Specially formulated with Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and collagen this is the first step in healthier, younger looking skin!  This deep cleansing formula works to clear blemishes and unclog pores and gives the skin an all over even look with lightening benefits for flawless, luminour skin while the collagen works to help firm the skin and decrease wrinkle density.

You don’t need a lot of the Daily Facial Cleanser, a quarter size amount is what Monsia recommends.  I found it to be gentle on my skin too.

Daily Protection & Toner Lotion

The second step to radiant skin is the daily protection toner.  In addition to containing collagen, this toner also includes Hyaluronic Acid and Shea Butter.  Hyaluronic Acid is well known for its plumping and rejuvenating effects on the skin as well as its ability to hydrate while clearing toxins.  Shea Butter is an antioxidant which works to protect the skin, and is recognized for its healing and anti-inflammatory benefits.

I really didn’t know what to expect with this.  Is it a lotion or a toner?  Its consistency is like a typical toner and it feels good on the skin after the cleanser.  When wearing makeup especially, I noticed that it removed more of the excess oil that was on my face, even after having used the cleanser.

Intense Moisturizing Day Cream

Including the same ingredients as the toner plus SPF 15, this intense day cream takes cellular regneration up a notch.  It’s packed full of the skin’s most needed nutrients.

This is my favorite product of the four in the Skin Renewal System.  I’ve been really happy with the Intense Moisturizing Day Cream as my skin has been getting drier as I’ve aged, and the benefits of the hyaluronic acid in the cream is helping replenish my skin.  I’ve also never been really diligent in using any sun protection on my face on a daily basis, and since this cream includes SPF 15 ingredients it makes it a multitasking product for me.

Intense Night Repair Cream

The advanced night cream is one of the most important steps in the Monsia Advanced Skin Renewal System.  Packed full of the anti-aging and skin renewing ingredients such as Shea Butter, Hyaluronic Acid and collagen, this night cream also includes the skin healing and disease fighting components glycerin, emu oil and aloe vera.

I did learn to apply the Night Repair Cream a bit before bed so that it could be completely absorbed.  The first night I used it, I didn’t and I think there was more on my pillow than there was on my skin.

I’m not going to lie, the Monsia Advanced Skin Renewal System is a pricey option at $299, but I have only been using it for a couple of weeks and have already noticed that the lines on my forehead look smoother.  Not enough for a dramatic before and after picture, but up close even my husband could tell.  I’m looking forward to seeing if it is very noticeable after I’ve been using it for a while.
