Treat Yourself to Some Marika Activewear

I was sent Marika activewear samples.  All opinions are my own.

Whether you’re on the hunt for a pair of workout leggings or looking for a stylish sports bra, you’ll find them from Marika!

Here my daughter is wearing the Balance Collection Mid Calf Capris ($55).

The capris have a great 5″ ultra high rise waistband that provides some tummy control. No overflowing muffin tops with these!  They are shaping with great stretch.  The have 10% spandex which helps them retain their shape and prevents sagging.  Combine that with the capri length and it gives your whole leg a slimming effect.  Both my daughter and I are quite petite (I’m only 4’9″) so the capri length is a bit longer on us.  The Balance Collection Mid Calf Capris have a 22″ inseam on the medium, so with my height it isn’t really much of a capri, take that into consideration on this photo 😉  These are a size small, and I’m about 110 lbs.  My daughter is just over 5′ and she is also about 110 lbs.

This Seamless Molded Cup Sports Bra ($50, available in sizes S-XL) is so comfy.

I’m a 34D and this is a size small.  It fits, but I probably could have gone up to a Medium for a bit more coverage.  I like that it has adjustable straps because despite my height and ridiculously short inseam 😉 , I have a long torso.  Many brands of sports bras that don’t offer this feature tend to hurt my shoulders and back at the end of the day or a workout, because I can adjust the straps to fit my body better, I find this Marika sports bra doesn’t cause me pain.

The molded cups are nice to keep everything in place, but this is a low impact sports bra so you still might move around a bit in it depending on your activities.  I have been using it as a regular bra with my racer back tanks and sundresses and it provides me with enough lift and support for daily wear, as well as being comfortable in the heat due to the Dry-Wick material it is constructed with.

For a sleek look, pick leggings in a dark blue or black – like these High Rise Tummy Control Leggings.  Balance the dark with a lighter hued top (check out the Torri Tank) that draws attention to your face.

Looking to make your hips look great?!  Go with a yoga pant that has a flared or bootcut hem and falls straight down – this will balance your curves.

Head over to their website to see all the Marika activewear they offer.  They currently have some great sales going on and offer free standard shipping.
