recipe adapted from Jen Scott

Serving size: 8 pieces Cooking Temp: 375 degrees Cooking Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:
Pie

8 ounces or one brewed K-cup Green Mountain Naturals Hot Apple Cider
8 medium apples
1 premade pie crust
4 Tbsp. sugar, 1 Tbsp. cinnamon, 4 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Crumble
1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter (cut in pieces)
3/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions
Unroll premade pie crust into a 9″ pie pan.

Peel, core and chop the apples. Simmer them with the Hot Apple Cider, the sugar, cinnamon and flour in the pie ingredients, for about 15 minutes. Then add the lemon juice. Place mixture into pie crust.

In a bowl, mix together sugar and flour, then cut in butter with a fork or a mixer just until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle the crumbles over the apples in the pie crust.

Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour watching the topping so it doesn’t get too dark.
