I love deal sites! Maybe it’s the thrill of seeing something discounted by so much off the retail price. Maybe it’s the anticipation of finding something you’ve wanted for a long time up for the deal of the day. Or maybe it’s finding out about a product you’ve never even heard of before. But whatever your reason, I know I’m not alone – I know a lot of you love the thrill of a deal too.

I got a chance to check out MamaBargains.com, a daily deal site that has products for baby, toddler, and mom also. They feature brands like Baby Star, Kate Quinn Organics, Rileyroos, Kidorable and Svan to name just a few. Once a day, twice a day, you’ll never know when they’ll put a new deal up, and that’s half the fun! When you see something that catches your eye…well then you jump on it, because it might be gone if you come back later to buy it. On the site itself they have a nifty avatar of “Mama” running across a bar that signals whether there is a lot left or whether the item is nearly sold out.

I was checking out the deals with their easy to install desktop Alert Tool. When the deals change it alerts you (how neat is that?!). I saw some really cute items come through the deals from knitted Mickey and Minnie Mouse hats to quality feeding accessories for baby.

When the Envirosax reusable grocery sacks hit the site, I was all over that one.

I topped off my shopping cart with 4 of the regular sized bags, 1 minisax and a slingsax to the tune of just $39.97 including shipping and handling. Had I bought those same items on Enivorsax’s website I would have paid $67.65, so I saved $27.68.

The caveat….well obviously I had to wait to see them come through the daily deal on MamaBargains.com, and receiving them took a long time from the date the order was placed until they were delivered to my home. So if you’re not in a rush to order something right now, and don’t need to get it right now – the savings definitely outweigh the waiting. You’ll want to make sure you read how long it will take for the product to ship when you’re ordering so you’re not surprised later when you’re waiting for your package.
