My mom and dad are coming for Thanksgiving this year.  They are arriving this Thursday and leaving on December 3rd.  In the 14 years we’ve lived in the U.S. they’ve only come one other time at Thanksgiving, and this year my sister and her family are coming for Christmas too!  The first time we’ve had family for Christmas!  I don’t know, it might have something to do with the fact that they live in frigid Canada and now we live in Texas … 

It has been 25 years since America’s favorite unstoppable icon,  Energizer Bunny, drummed his way in to consumers’ hearts and homes. (Oh Bunny you are young, I was 15 when your cute pink fluffiness made your way across the TV screen.)  Everyday people and pop culture enthusiasts alike have been enraptured with his tenacious spirit and boundless energy. People often compare themselves to the Energizer Bunny because of his never quit attitude (not me though, I get tuckered out long before the Bunny or his products do).

I burst with excitement over Christmas.  I love the sights, the scents, the sounds.  I love just everything about it, I get giddy with happiness!  I love giving gifts to my family, and in all honesty…I love getting gifts too 🙂

I spent part of the afternoon yesterday wrapping up some gifts for our daughter and my nephews, and as I was busy cutting and taping, my husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas.  That prompted me to sit down and make a wish list.

This last year has been a real growing time between my daughter and I.  She’s always been a Daddy’s Girl, and has never interested herself in things that most little girls did.  No princessess, no tutus, no coming home from middle school goo-goo eyed over some boy (well not that I’m complaining about that last one mind you..).  The point is she’s now at the place where some of the things that girls start caring about at much younger ages she’s now just starting to notice.  Like, if her skin is clear, how her hair looks, does she sweat too much?

A couple of weeks ago I received a hoodie coat from Everbuying.com to review.  

It was shipped from overseas and arrived very quickly and when I opened the package to take it out I was not disappointed. It is constructed from a heavy cotton blended fleece on the outside and the sleeves are nicely lined.  The body and hood are lined with a grey minky fabric.  The pockets are embellished with little black buttons that feature an anchor.
