Auntie Anne’s Pretzels at Home, Still Just as Good.

So, when I go to the mall, I always have to stop at Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and get a pretzel and a Dutch Ice.  I love, love, love their pretzels.  If for some reason (time constraints, ornery child, empty pocketbook…)I can’t get one, I am saddened for the remainder of the day.

I’ve recently been able to try the Auntie Anne’s At-Home Baking Kit.  Granted it takes more effort than going to the mall and purchasing a pretzel, but at the same time, I get to do something else I love:  spending time in my kitchen baking.

Auntie Anne’s At-Home Baking Kit is:

1.) Fun
2.) Easy
3.) Delicious

I might add a fourth:

4.) Really Delicious.

Moving on, below are the steps to making your own pretzels using this kit.

1.) Proof your yeast.

2.) Mix the dough.

3.) Let the dough rise.

4.) Turn out dough, cut portions, roll out into the shapes you want.

5.) Dip into baking soda mixture (I forgot to take pictures of that part), put onto baking sheet, bake 10 minutes.

6.) ENJOY!

I used to lurve going to the mall.  Why?  I loved having an excuse to stop at Auntie Anne’s.  Not necessarily something I have to do now!  Next time I go to the mall, in addition to my pretzel, I’m going to pick up a couple of Auntie Anne’s At-Home Baking Kits, so when the craving comes up on me, I can just make some at home!
