Cakes Under the Influence Peaches & Cream Cupcakes Recipe

I recently was given the chance to try Wineheart Vinoleche thanks to House Party.  It’s not widely available where I live and the only store in the vicinity that sold it only had the Tres Leches variety.  Not that that’s a bad thing, but I was hoping to try a couple of different kinds so that we had a better idea of the flavors they offered.  The recipe card that they had to match the Tres Leches was a Peaches & Cream drink.

I also was just recently sent a Cakes Under the Influence Entertainer Baking Kit with Mini-Martini molds.  These baking kits from Cakes Under the Influence let you bake cupcakes in cocktail shapes and sizes.  The kits come with:

  • 12 silicone baking molds and 12 metal cocktail-shaped cups
  • 24 custom-sized cupcake liners,
  • 12 martini acrylic serving cups and a serving tray that the serving cups snap in to.

Cakes Under the Influence baking kits work with lo-proof mixes (9 oz cake mixes) or hi-proof cake mixes (which only require the addition of your liquid beverage).  I used the hi-proof mix that Cakes Under the Influence sent along with the kit.

In order to do something different than just ‘drink’ the Peaches & Cream recipe, I decided to make Peaches & Cream cupcakes using the Cakes Under the Influence baking kit pairing the hi-proof vanilla cake mix with the Wineheart Tres Leches and Peach Schnapps.

The result was a fun batch of cupcakes with a great flavor.  These are perfect for a Girls Night In, bridal showers or any other occasion where you want to serve an adult dessert.  It’s a really unique and creative way to serve cupcakes to your guests.  The molds fit right into a standard muffin/cupcake tin, and I love that there is really no clean up involved except for your mixing bowl, because of the parchment linings.

Cakes Under the Influence Peaches & Cream Cupcakes

1 pouch vanilla hi-proof baking mix
2 oz of water
2 oz of milk
2 oz of Wineheart Vinoleche Tres Leches
2 oz of Peach Schnapps

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Mix all ingredients for 4-5 minutes
Pour into molds with baking papers
Bake for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
Deocrate with Glaze made with 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbsp french vanilla flavored coffee creamer.  Add more or less sugar to get the desired consistency.
