Build-A-Bear Workshop Valentine’s Day Review & Giveaway

One of our favorite places to visit when we go on vacation is to a Build-A-Bear Workshop.  We don’t have a store near by us, so it makes for a special time and memories to build a stuffed friend to take home.

Since we couldn’t go to a Build-A-Bear in person to make a Valentine’s Day friend, we were sent this super cute Love Bug.  Isn’t he adorable?  This guy is super-soft, and we love that “love bug wings” are removable so when you want to fall asleep with him, you don’t have to worry about crushing them.

Getting a special stuffed friend for your child for Valentine’s Day is as easy as going to the Build-A-Bear Workshop online store.  Pre-made selections are plentiful with many designed just for Valentine’s Day.

Notice how ‘Love Bug’s’ shirt says Huggable?  That’s cuz he is .  His team styled polo also gives homage to the date that the first Build-A-Bear store opened, 1997.  He just looks so put together with his jeans and sneakers, perfect for a little boy or girl (there is also a girl version of Love Bug, if dresses and frills are more your child’s thing!).  Speaking of Huggable, Build-A-Bear has an annual search for Huggable Heroes, a way to recognize young leaders in their communities.  To learn more about the Huggable Heroes program visit my friend Maggie’s blog My Little Review Corner.

Of course while kids love the Build-A-Bear friends, don’t discount these as a gift for teens or adults either.  The first Valentine’s Day that my husband and I were dating, he got me a teddy bear.  I still have it, and it holds such a special place among my mementos.
