Wow! The last of our six days in a row at sea! It was quite an experience. The ocean was quite rough this day, the waves topping out at about 13 feet. That makes for a rocking boat! The swimming pools were instantly turned into wave pools!
Today was the day the cruisers pulled out the boats they had constructed for Goofy & Max’s Boat Building Bash. This is the boat we made.
And it floats!
We didn’t win anything but had a lot of fun making it. Some of the cruisers came up with very neat designs.
A very unique show was presented in the theater tonight. Walt Disney: The Dream Goes On. This music review chronicled Walt Disney’s career and inspiration to others decade by decade, with footage and songs from his movies.
After the show we headed over to Studio Sea the family club on board, to try and get a spot playing the game show “Who Wants To Be A Mouseketeer?” Yes, it’s just like “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” but with Disney trivia, oh yeah and no million dollar prize, lol! We did get chosen to play. You only have to answer four questions and you get two lifelines. We won, but embarassingly needed both lifelines to do it!
I had no idea Disney Crusies went anywhere BUT the Caribbean or West Coast. That is good to know, because there have been trips to Europe that we have not taken because they are not "child-friendly". I actually would prefer to visit Europe–actually I have been to Spain a few times and I really enjoyed it. The good thing about the disney cruises is that each of the child care workers must have a degree and a minimum required child care experience—don’t quote me on that, but that’s how it was a few years back. It definitely gave me peace of mind!
looks like you are having such a great time
