Big Hero 6

Have you all been to the movies lately?  If you haven’t then let me clue you in on a release that will be coming out in November from Walt Disney Studios called BIG HERO 6

Better yet…let me show you!

The team behind “Frozen” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” brings you “Big Hero 6,” an action-packed comedy-adventure about the special bond that develops between Baymax (voice of Scott Adsit), a plus-sized inflatable robot, and prodigy Hiro Hamada (voice of Ryan Potter). When a devastating event befalls the city of San Fransokyo and catapults Hiro into the midst of danger, he turns to Baymax and his close friends adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago (voice of Jamie Chung), neatnik Wasabi (voice of Damon Wayans Jr.), chemistry whiz Honey Lemon (voice of Genesis Rodriguez) and fanboy Fred (voice of T.J. Miller). Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called “Big Hero 6.”

Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring breathtaking action with all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”). The film hits theaters in 3D on Nov. 7, 2014.

“Big Hero 6” is the 54th feature film from Walt Disney Animation Studios.

I can’t even begin to describe how excited my daughter is about this movie.  Between the Marvel universe characters, the incredible animation and her love for animé, she’s been talking about this since she first heard about its release.  Her and all her new buddies in her Arts & Technology school at university are itching to see it for both the story and for the animation aspect of it as well (while Amber’s majoring in video game design, many of her classmates are in the animation program to work on movies just like this once they get a degree!).

  1. From all the clips and all I hear about it, I'm so excited to see it play out on the big screen. The big white puffy guy makes me giggle just to look at him.
