Meal Planner Review/Giveaway

A number of weeks ago a fellow local DFW blogger, Carrie Elle, asked if I’d like to review one of her Meal Planners.  I was eager to do so because my meal planning skills of late have been dismal.  I even subscribe to an online meal planning service and haven’t opened any of the e-mails in months!  It is the curse of being busy and trying to fit every minute of time into a summer that goes by too, too quickly.  But when we dropped Amber off at college, I knew that I needed to start meal planning again or we were destined to eat frozen dinners and canned beans for the next four years.

There are so many awesome features to Carrie’s Meal Planners!  It has of course the required meal planning pages which come with an attached perforated grocery list portion, but it also has blank calendars for each month, holiday and party planning pages, a resource list of blogs for recipes, and blank pages at the back to collect or write down your own recipes, measurements, or whatever else you may want to record there.

The very best part of Carrie’s Meal Planners are that they are undated , which means that you can customize it to your needs.  Going on vacation for two weeks?  Well there will be no wasted pages since they aren’t predated.

This planner is the size of a traditional school notebook.  Coil bound with a sturdy laminated cover.  The inner pages are a quality thickness and she has all kinds of cute patterns to catch your attention and make meal plannng fun.  I chose the Dot Diggety pattern because it was so bright and colorful and just made me smile as soon as I saw it.  She even can personalize the covers just for you if you want to add that.

I’m so thankful Carrie saved us from eating rubber meatballs and our “in case of zombie attack canned stash” when she offered me this planner.  Check out her Etsy Store to see more helpful items that make life fun!

Carrie has so kindly offered to giveaway one of her meal planners to a Three Different Directions reader!
