You'll Believe It When You Try It | The "Better" CiCi's Pizza + Giveaway

As most American families these days, we’re all about getting the most bang for our buck. But that doesn’t mean we want to sacrifice quality for price. That’s why we’ve always enjoyed going to CiCi’s Pizza. If you’re not familiar with CiCi’s, it’s an all you can eat pizza buffet restaurant.

Because CiCi’s listens to their guests, the feedback they were receiving from their customers inspired them to go back to the kitchen and create a better pizza experience that is cheesier, zestier and tastier than ever before. This past week they invited some North Texas based bloggers to be among the first to try their “Better” pizza.

Shall we start with the most eaten pizza? ….that would be….PEPPERONI! CiCi’s is rolling out new ingredients in November to its restaurants and after trying many different kinds of pepperoni they found one that brings an improvement to taste. Their pepperoni is now spicier and thicker, creating a crispier texture. The pepperoni ‘cups’ when baking, so you know it’s good 🙂 (Really that’s an indicator of quality pepperoni!) And now there are more toppings per square inch on every pizza.

The sauce is zestier. The improved pizza sauce has a bright, fresh tomato flavor, made with crushed tomatoes and Mediterranean oregano seasoning as part of CiCi’s proprietary spice blend. You can see the chunks of tomatoes in it.

The crust is yummier. The made-from-scratch crust is now brushed with Garlic Buttered sauce that will make you want to eat your crust and leave you craving another slice. The outer crust is now just 1/2 inch thick rather than 1 inch, so there’s more room for delicious sauce, toppings and cheese.

If you consider how much pizza dough is made each day in their Texas locations, CiCi’s is one of the biggest bakeries in Texas!

Speaking of cheese…CiCi’s pizzas are now cheesier. As always they use 100% real mozzarella and now they’ve nearly doubled the amount of cheese on each pizza!

Guest favorites are now in dedicated spots on the buffet; Classic Pepperoni, Sausage, Veggie and Classic Cheese.

And while pizza is the star attraction at CiCi’s, the menu now includes Garlic Cheesy Bread and Flatbread Pizzas which are available in Meltdown, Pepperoni & Sausage and Garlic Veggie.

The salad bar is bigger with fresh choices and more options too! New options include sunflower seeds, garbanzo beans, pickle chips and sliced beets (at select locations).

I have to say pretty much the best thing ever about CiCi’s is how they are so customer oriented. Did you know that you can have pizzas made to order? Don’t see a pizza on the buffet that you want, they will create a 9″ pizza, JUST FOR YOU! Have allergies? Bring in your own ingredients and they will make a pizza for you using those. Need to have a crustless version of pizza? They’ll do that too!
