We just went grocery shopping today, and as we were checking out I watched what was being scanned across the register. We had some pretty healthy foods in the cart and others…not so much 😉 I try and purchase wholesome foods, but I know that we are still pretty far from our goal in getting all our essential vitamins and nutrients.
I know that I should have plenty of fruits and vegetables in our weekly meal plans because of their important nutrients. Late last year when I went for my wellness check, I received a phone call letting me know that my cholesterol levels were creeping toward that ‘borderline high’ mark. Quite honestly…I was a little surprised at that. I was told to bolster up on the asparagus and broccoli because of their high Vitamin A content, which helps reduce cholesterol. As much as I like broccoli (with cheese) and asparagus (with bacon), I know that my eating habits aren’t going to get the levels down where I want them to without a little help.

Triple-Strength Omega-3 Fish Oil Softgels are a natural fish oil concentrate. They are made with IFOS 5-Star Certified fish oil and each 1,200 mg fish oil softgel contains 1,060 mg of Omega-3s (750 EPA, 250 DHA, 60 other EFAs). Those are the heart-healthy fatty acids.
I’ve tried other fish oil pills in the past and because of the side effects (fishy burps anyone? eww..) I stopped using them. The Nutrigold Triple-Strength Omega-3 Gold Fish Oil Softgels have exceptional purity meaning no foul breath, fishy aftertaste or those dreaded burps.
If one were going to eat fish for the Omega-3 value, Atlantic salmon is probably the most recommended, so I was happy to see that the Nutrigold Triple-Strength is sourced from Alaskan deep ocean waters from US sustainable Whitefish and NOT from farm-raised fish. It being a pharmaceutical-grade also means it is tested and certified by 3rd party labs to ensure its purity and potency. The softgels are guaranteed free of harmful Mercury, Dioxins, PCBs, and toxins. They also do NOT contain artificial ingredients, colors, flavors, Milk, Lactose, Gluten, Wheat, Yeast, Starch, Peanuts, Soy, or Shellfish. So those with allergens to some of the key triggers can see that they would be safe to take.
Most other Omega-3 Fish Oil Softgels provide only 250mg to 350mg of Omega-3 fatty acids in a 1,000mg or 1,200mg fish oil softgel. This product contains 1,060mg Omega-3s in each 1,200mg fish oil softgel. That’s great for those of us who don’t want to take 5 pills a day and the price tag when you compare the amount of fatty acids in each is actually really reasonable.
You can find Triple-Strength Omega-3 Fish Oil Softgels at HerbalProvider.com, and I’m hoping that when they test my cholesterol levels next year, that I won’t be on the ‘border’ any more!
