The Green Refrigerator Machine will change the way you stock your fridge. Both with the kinds of food you purchase and the amount of fresh produce. And it’s an easy to put together package; just slide off a panel, drop in batteries, place it in your fridge and walk away!
“The Green Refrigerator Machine (GRM) is an eco-friendly, award-winning and inexpensive refrigerator update that uses patented ozone technology to keep food fresher longer, preventing waste, and extending healthy life of refrigerated foods.”
I have been suitably impressed by The Green Refrigerator Machine, so far it has tackled the most offending odors in my fridge (onions!), leaving no smell at all. I also have noticed a major improvement in the length of time my produce has lasted. I had strawberries in the fridge and they lasted long over a week, where normally by that time they are starting to mold.
I have up to this point always used Baking Soda in the fridge to cut odors, but The Green Refrigerator Machine, kills the two proverbial birds with one stone, not only does it make the scent of your foods vanish, it also extends the life of your food.
If I could change one thing about The Green Refrigerator Machine it would be the 4 D size batteries it takes. We don’t normally purchase batteries in that size (generally we use AA or AAA rechargeable ones), and that tacks on a bit of maintenance for me to the machine. I do like the fact that there is a green blinking light on the front of the device so you know it’s working, plus as strange as it sounds, if you’re up close you can actually ‘smell’ the ozone circulation another indicator that it’s working. That will really help me know when to change the batteries as I have it placed a little further back on an upper fridge shelf so it isn’t always visible to me.
Don’t spend more money than you have to on restocking your fridge because your food has gone bad, or avoid opening the door because of the odor inside. This is well worth the $39.95 price tag, and if you’ve ever thrown food away (especially expensive produce) it will pay for itself in no time.

Do you have issues with odors in your fridge, or fresh food sprouting green and white spots? What kinds of food would The Green Refrigerator Machine save you the most money on by extending the life of?
I was recently provided the opportunity to participate in a Mom Select campaign. I received a courtesy The Green Refrigerator Machine but the opinions in this review are 100% mine. Published by Tammy Litke.
