The Great Stuffing Debate – $50 Visa Gift Card Giveaway

This November, a great debate will be brewing – one that will have nothing to do with politics.  Instead of things heating up across the congressional aisle, a conversation is sure to be stirring across the dinner table.  The subject: stuffing.

While stuffing is a must-have dish on the Thanksgiving table, it can also be one of the most polarizing elements of the big feast.  Nearly everyone has a favorite style, no matter how well-intentioned, tampering with a family favorite can spark quite the mealtime controversy.

Everyone agrees that it’s not a proper holiday without stuffing (well except the other two people in my family, but there’s no accounting for their lack of tastebuds).  But Everyone Disagrees about what should be in that stuffing.  Bread Crumbs or cornbread?  Dried Fruit?  Nuts?  Sausage?  One person’s “yum” is another’s “yuck!”  And where there is conflict, there is wicked comedy just waiting to happen.

I took the question challenge, and found that my ‘perfect stuffing’ is the Garden Vegetable Stuffing.  I actually enjoyed it for dinner just this evening.  We’re talking super simple to make, and oh so delicious.  I used a Swanson Organic Vegetable Broth rather than the Chicken Broth in the recipe.
