New toys are always fun to get. When we were younger our splurge items were things like electronics. Now you’ll find our “toys” are more along the lines of household goods and relaxing vacations.

This past spring I was able to boast on Facebook that for our newest splurge purchase, my husband and I got a tempurpedic mattress. There were a number of different tempurpedic mattresses that we could have chosen from. We chose the Tempur-Cloud Supreme.

We had a huge, tall mattress before this one, so it looked kind of funny in our bed frame at first; but slowly I got used to it. It’s a lot lower and more streamlined, it looks good even without a cover and sheets on it!

And now …my bed is my favorite place to be! The Tempurpedic has a completely different feeling to it than our old mattress did, we do think it’s like sleeping on a cloud, even though it’s firmer. It offers us great back support.

They say Tempurpedic owners love their beds, and I’d have to agree with that! Having slept on it for a few months now, I almost don’t even want to go on vacation any more and have to sleep in a hotel bed (…almost…)
