Sweet Dreams with Pixie Dust – Giveaway

Tinker Bell, also known as “Tink”, is sassy, brave, and beautiful.  I like to think I’m a bit like her, I’m pixie sized, and pretty sassy myself!  That’s sort of where the resemblance ends though!  Being a ‘tinker’ fairy, she’s pretty creative and fixes things, me ….not so much.  Oh wait, she can be easily impatient and annoyed <– I’m pretty good at that!

The Disney Fairies franchise is a hit with girls, especially those in the 4 – 6 year old range (at least from what I’ve seen).  With the new movie that just hit the shelves (Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue), to dolls and apparel. 

The latest film is the third in a series, all set around a season, Tinker Bell was set in spring, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure in autumn, the latest one in summer, and in 2011 Tinker Bell and the Mysterious Winter Woods will expose us to some chillier weather.  There is also a fifth movie slated to appear in 2012 – Tinker Bell Race Through the Seasons which will take us through a whole year’s worth of seasons!

If you have young girls in your midst that don’t just love Tinker Bell, but enjoy playing video games, you have to check out a couple.  One is PixieHollow.com.  The basic game is free to play online.  A new game for Nintendo DS based on Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, just game out too.  If you’re interested in that title, I have a review up for it on Play That Now.
