Leading snack company, Snyder of Berlin, is celebrating its 65th anniversary with special packaging and a photo contest!

From now until December 31, 2012 photos submitted for the Snyder Snack-Shots contest should show how Snyder of Berlin snacks are enjoyed during the spring, summer, and fall.  The photo can be solo, with friends or family, at any event or occasion, or just at home enjoying lunch or a snack.

Great prizes will be awarded to many:
– One grand prize winner will win $1,000 in cash, a new camera, and a year’s supply of Snyder’s snacks.
– Three runner up winners will receive $500 in cash, and a year’s supply of Snyder’s snacks.
– Each month there will be monthly winners who will win a Snyder of Berlin Party Pack of Snacks and also have a chance to be the grand prize or one of the runner-up winners.

We also got to try out these snacks.  The come in a variety of kinds (pretzels, chips, cheese puffs), we were sent an assortment, but our favorite was the delicious kettle cooked Hawaiian Sweet Onion chips, they had a really great taste and were not oily at all.  We also enjoyed the Baked Cheese Curls, which added to our lunch, they were flavored well and were fresh, with just the right texture.  Some of the other flavors we got to try were Original, Bar-B-Q and Hot & Spicy Jalapeno.  As expected the last one has quite a kick to it, they are hot & spicy!
