I can’t believe I’m doing this but here goes….

Yes that’s what the top of my head looked like earlier yesterday.  I don’t usually let it go so long, but Vocalpoint was sending me an exclusive Blogger Kit for Root Touch-Up by Nice ‘n Easy (which included a coupon for me to use, some giveaway coupons and a gift card to thank me for sharing my results), and I figured I’d put it to the ultimate test.

I had never used this product before, and I was a bit skeptical that I could extend the life of my color in just 10 MINUTES.  But with my coupon I headed to CVS to get a box of Root Touch-Up by Nice ‘n Easy and stood in the aisle and pondered on what color I should get.  There were a lot of shade choices (21 to be exact), and I generally color my hair myself at home with Nice ‘n Easy, so I was pretty sure I could get a seamless match.

It’s really easy to use.  You just mix the two solutions in the little tray, take the brush, dip it in and paint away at your roots.

It’s a pretty quick and affordable way to ‘hide’ those roots when they start peeking through two weeks after you’ve had a fresh color.  Root Touch-Up will last up to three weeks, extending the life of your last color a few weeks longer.

It’s designed to deliver 100% gray coverage.  I still had a bit, but then like I said, mine was way more than 2 weeks from when I last colored (I was expecting the kit a lot sooner than I actually received it, and purposely didn’t color my hair so I could use this).  That being said this permanent formula did a bang up job covering most of the gray at the roots and then some.  Because I had so much gray, I did leave the color in for about 15 minutes, which the instructions indicate might be necessary for lighter colors and stubborn grays.)

Not too bad right?! (By the way, it’s a lot harder to take a picture by yourself, of the top of your head that’s in focus than you would think.)  I’m pretty sure I would have gotten even better coverage if I had done it 2 weeks after coloring rather than waiting…(I won’t even tell you how long it was, you can’t make me!)

Thanks to Vocalpoint 3 of my readers will snag themselves a coupon good for a FREE box of Root Touch-Up Nice ‘n Easy Hair Color.
