I CANNOT believe Christmas is in just two days.  With family having come to visit us here in Texas for both Thanksgiving and Christmas that means we’ve been eating and drinking lots of great holiday food.  And a good glass of wine goes hand in hand with holiday celebrations.  Of course, in this economy we’re still watching our wallets a little more than we used to (well, I am anyway).  But there are certain things I don’t want to give up completely.  I was recently introduced to Riunite Lambrusco and I have to say this is truly a GOOD AFFORDABLE wine that you can add to your holiday table.

Riunite Lambrusco is deep ruby-red in color and is an intense bouquet with hints of raspberry and wild black cherry.  It’s fresh and crisp in a typical frizzante style.  The residual sugar is well-balanced with a light acidity providing a pleasant, fruity finish.

If you still need to pick a hostess gift up for a holiday gathering, or bring a gift for an exchange, why not consider a bottle of Riunite Lambrusco (or two!).

The wine pairs well with BBQ pork, Asian cuisine, Tex-Mex, buffalo wings, and similarly spicy foods; which makes it a great choice for your New Year’s Eve parties as well.

You can connect with Riunite on Facebook and on Twitter.

Have you had Riunite Lambrusco before?  What’s your favorite Riunite wine?

  1. While hubby and I don't drink my inlaws do and would love this! I still haven't gotten them anything to go along with their broadway ticket gift – this will be perfect 🙂

  2. We don't keep alcohol in the house, but I love to find out about products I can bring to outside events. I haven't tried this before, but will keep it in mind for the future.

  3. We don't drink, but do have family and friends who visit that do, and this would be nice to have on hand for when they do.

  4. I had no idea that Riunite still existed! It was my mom's friend's favorite wine when I was little. I'll have to try it.

  5. I have never tried it but I'll have to look for it in-store today! Would be a great hostess gift!

  6. *That's* what was missing at the family dinner last night – WINE! Have to check this wine out.

  7. Love your posts! I would like to add this wine to what I already buy for parties. Thank you!
