Do you guys remember the post I made last month about my non-existent green thumb? Right, if you didn’t go read it, and then come back.
Okay so now that you’re all caught up, you know how ironic it was when I got an offer from ProFlowers to do a review for them for one of their Mother’s Day Plants or bouquets. (Insert snort here). Yep the girl who can’t keep fake flowers alive.
But I perused their website anyway, thinking I could give the review item to a friend, and make their day in the process, when my daughter piped up and said – “Heh Mom, maybe they have a cactus. Surely even you couldn’t kill a cactus!”
And lone behold you know what? ProFlowers had the most beautiful Deluxe Succulent Garden of cactuses (or is that cacti?), and I knew that was the Mother’s Day plant for me!
It arrived the other day, and it is so nice. It was packaged very securely, and withstood the chilly air that we are still having here in the northern plains. I really think this is a plant I can keep alive, and am looking forward to seeing it grow!
