A number of years ago my husband changed his diet to try and improve his health. Whole grains and multi grains quickly became a staple on our grocery list for his breakfasts. He’s a creature of habit and fell into a routine where he eats the same thing multiple times a week. I however, like a bit more variety in my mornings.
Truth be told, I’m drawn to comfort tastes of yesteryear. Grandma’s cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven. Bowls of hot thick oatmeal with a spoonful of brown sugar. A short stack of multigrain pancakes. The reality is, I don’t have time to make breakfasts like that as much as I crave the flavors of them.
So you can imagine how intrigued I was to try the NEW Cheerios Oat Crunch.
It is made with Multi Grain Cheerios, topped with whole grain oats and real cinnamon. This is literally every taste I’m looking for in a breakfast combined!
When I had it for breakfast the other morning, it did not disappoint.
My synapses were firing on all pistons with the cinnamon flavor profile, and the whole oats added to the O’s provide a great crunch even when in the milk for a while.
My husband may end up chuckling at me in the mornings now, as I can see myself enjoying Cheerios Oat Crunch multiple times a week! It is nutritious, hearty, and simply delicious.
Not only do I think Cheerios Oat Crunch is tasty but I can feel confident in its value to my body because:
- It contains no artificial flavors
- It has no colors/no artificial colors/no colors from artificial sources
- It contains 9 vitamins and minerals
- It has more than ½ the recommended daily whole grain per serving. ** 48 grams is recommended daily
- It is a good source of fiber ****4.5 grams of total fat per serving
The New Cheerios Oat Crunch is available at Walmart. I found the Family Size boxes, at our local Walmart, in the cereal aisle.
