Mother’s Day Gifting from Best Buy

Mother’s Day is just a week and half away!  I’ve already got my Mom her gift, but I could with great confidence bet you, that my daughter and/or husband have not yet purchased a gift for me.

They’ve done pretty good with suggestions in the past.  Like the time they got me a KitchenAid Ultra Power Tilt-Head Stand Mixer, or the year I received an Oster Waffle Maker, there was even the time they came up with the Keurig special edition brewer all on their own with no help from me!

Are you seeing a theme here?  Yeah, when it comes to gifts I’m slightly obsessed with the kitchen things.  I’m not quite sure that I’m at the “Foodie – she can cook a celebrity chef under the table” level, but I do enjoy playing around in my kitchen.

Here’s the thing though, I KNOW both of them will walk into a Best Buy store some time in the next 11 days, which means all I have to do is drop a few hints here or there, in which case they’ll be successful in their endeavor to get me a gift right under the wire that I’ll like.

I’ll just stick a Post-It note to my husband’s phone with a few ideas like these:

8 bottle wine chiller (which is under $100*)

Dash Greek Yogurt Maker (only $39.99**)

Smart Oven Convection Toaster/Pizza Oven

*not including the 8 bottles of wine I would expect to accompany it of course 😉
** I’ll let my daughter buy that one.  She is saving half of her paycheck for college expenses.

Better yet, I’ll just e-mail them both with a link to Best Buy Gift Center multiple times a day (that’s not obvious is it?).  It’s really a one stop shop for gift givers to find the perfect gift for Moms of all personas.  Then they could choose any of the gifts fit for a Foodie Mom (well except for the ones I already own, because that would be an epic gift giving fail then wouldn’t it?):
