A friend of mine told me recently that eating gluten-free can be like a detox for your body. She eats a gluten-free diet when she returns from vacation and has indulged a little much, in order to feel better. I think this is something I might try and do the next time I eat a bit too much junk, and I know I won’t feel deprived eating Mary’s Gone Crackers gluten-free products during that time.
We recently had a chance to try Mary’s Gone Crackers Pretzel Snacks Sticks & Twigs. What a fun name!

Mary’s Gone Crackers – Sticks & Twigs
These pretzel snacks have a unique taste to them, and surprisingly aren’t just gluten-free but wheat-free also. Add to that, they’re USDA Organic, Kosher, dairy free, have omega-3s and are made in a nut-free facility, and you’ve got yourself one nearly perfect snack!

And look at that, they even LOOK like Sticks & Twigs for real!
Both the Chipotle Tomato and Curry flavors have some zing to them. I need to swig some water down while eating those ones, but then, I’m not a spicy food lover at all. The Sea Salt flavor however, Hubby and I finished off the 8oz bag in one sitting. The Sticks & Twigs are really crunchy, beware if you have sensitive teeth, I’m not sure whether it was the flax or chia seeds but I found myself biting down on one of them a few times, making me concerned for a filling in the back of my teeth (which nothing happened to, I’m just paranoid!).
The ingredients are not what you’d find in an ordinary snack; brown rice, whole quinoa, flax seeds, sesame seeds, amaranth, millet, and chia seeds!
Interestingly enough my husband really liked these, and he’s a picky eater, so that’s a shout out to Mary’s Gone Crackers.
