Let Salata Catering Handle Your Salad Course this Holiday Season

Around the holidays time is not easy to come by!  We’re shuffling to and fro between work and all the extra activities that go on during this time.  This year I decided that when I need to bring something for a holiday party I’m opting in to bring the salad course… because Salata makes it so easy for me!  I actually did this just the other night with an Italian themed potluck meal that our small group study had.

With that theme in mind we picked up Caesar Salad enough to feed 13 people and added a few brownies and cookies to our take out for a sweet treat as well.

Salata’s online ordering and catering is a great option for holiday parties.  They have some wonderful pre-made salad combinations that are a lighter option but still oh so tasty to serve.

Green Goodness combines spring mix, kale, chick peas, broccoli, cilantro, bell pepper, alfalfa sprouts, pumpkin seeds, feta, pesto chicken.  The fresh herb vinaigrette dressing complements that salad well.

Or perhaps you want to go with Sweet and Savory.  In that case romaine, banana peppers, grapes, eggs, cranberry, cheddar, parmesan, bacon, croutons, grilled chicken and buttermilk ranch should hit the spot.

The Keen Wah Kale is filled with antioxidant rich foods.  Kale, radish, red onion, jicama, cucumber, pumpkin seeds, cranberry, quinoa.  Top it off with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing for the perfect finish.

Using Salata’s online portal is simple.  You can choose delivery or pickup for your order.  There are a lot of options to choose from to feed a crowd from whole Salata bars to wrap trays and more.

Salata Catering

Salata catering is all about fresh and so you have to make your order about 24 hours in advance and you can schedule your delivery or pickup time.  If you don’t have a large amount of people to feed, you can use their individual online order option and just get a few large or small salads or wraps made with the salad mix and toppings you’d like.

For myself I have to say I loved the convenience of driving by our local Salata, getting the packaged salad for our group dinner and heading out on my way.  I didn’t have to shop for ingredients, wash or prep anything.  The Caesar salad was fresh, crispy and we even add bacon to it at no extra charge 🙂  The fact that there was just a handful leftover in the bowl at the end of the evening shows that everyone else apparently thought it was a great salad too!

In addition to being a healthy and easy option for parties, you can give the gift of health this year with Salata gift cards. Right now with a $25 gift card purchase (or higher), customers will get a coupon for a free small salad or wrap on their next visit valid through Dec. 31, 2015.

The holiday season is a time for get-togethers with family and friends, love and giving.  So Salata wants to give one of my readers a Salata Gift Package that includes a $50 Salata Gift Card, a Salata Tumbler and Tote Bag.

  1. Just the basic salad bar ingredients. Not a fan of weird cheeses or fruit on my greens.

  2. I love the custom salads at Salata! Fresh and perfect for a quick healthy choice!

  3. Salata is one one of my favorite restaurants. The catering sounds great for when my family visits since they eat mainly salads. I love snap peas, pesto chicken, carrots, peas, and sprouts on my salad.
