Global icon and popstar sensation Kylie Minogue, is celebrating 25 years in music with the release of The Abbey Road Sessions.  The album, recorded in London at the legendary Abbey Road Studios with a full orchestra, features 16 classic Kylie songs, all radically reimagined and rearranged.  The album features many of Kylie’s best-known hits including “I Should Be So Lucky”, “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” and “The Locomotion”.

Other highlights include fan favorite but previously unreleased “Flower”, a song she wrote years ago following her battle with breast cancer, an ode to the child she hopes to have one day.

This album has a different sound than the pop hits that you are used to.  Kylie Minogue takes her songs to a new level with basic acoustics which allows you to really hear the intensity of the lyrics and her vocals.

I don’t have my holiday decorations up yet, but I can imagine myself sitting in front of a crackling fire, with my Christmas tree lights sparkling…putting this CD in the player and sitting back and just relaxing.  Check your Christmas list.  Any music lovers?  Kylie Minogue fans?  If so this would make a great gift.  No judging here, if you buy a copy for yourself while you’re buying one for someone else!
