I got to try this new new contact lens solution.  I am a current user of Bausch + Lomb’s renu formula, which I’ve been quite happy with over the years.  However, the older I’m getting the more I notice my contacts feeling “dry & sticky” on my eyes.  Where once I was able to wear my contacts from morning to night, now I find my eyes get dry around dinner time, making me either rub them a lot or taking my contacts out to alleviate the irritation.

I find the Biotrue keeps my eyes hydrated for much longer periods of time when I’m wearing my contacts.  The other day I had them in from 8AM through to 1AM – and only found myself feeling irritated at about 11PM or so.  That’s about 15 hours.  I was pretty impressed.  I have also found that I don’t have any problems getting my contacts in the next morning after a late night.  Something that’s usually been a hassle even with the renu.  It seems that the hyaluronan (a lubricant found throughout the body) in the Biotrue really helps to provide constant hydrating of the eyes, which in turn helps keep my eyes from having to “catch up” in terms of being ready to wear my contacts again.
