I spent my childhood surrounded by sun worshippers. I grew up in the 70s/80s when you didn’t buy lotion for the spf factor but you bought it for the ‘tanning degree’ it would give you. Yes, that also meant I likely never wore a hat or sunglasses (unless we were trying to act cool) all those years either.
It wasn’t until I was an adult that I learned that increased sun exposure to the eyes may increase the risk of cataracts. Cataract surgery is something I do not want to have to go through! So now I always make sure that I’m wearing sunglasses when I’m outdoors.

I'm glad to know the men's also fit so well. I have a big head so those little petite ones looks like sunglasses for dolls on me. I was carpooled with someone in a convertible I was reviewing and the first thing she said was, "You don't wear sunglasses?!" as she talked about the risk of cataracts. I guess I need to do some shopping 🙂

Protecting your eyes is so important and I can not live without my Rx sunglasses. I would even wear them indoors if it was more socially acceptable!
