Hungry Jack Premium Hashbrowns Kit Giveaway

My husband’s grandmother was a potato lover. She was known to eat just potatoes for a meal and nothing else. That gene was definitely inherited by our daughter. She loves potatoes. Made just about anyway you can think of, but hashbrowns are her favorite. I’ve always only made the diced variety either frozen or from scratch, and have never tried making the “shredded kind”, mostly because we like our hashbrowns crispy, and whenever we’ve encountered shredded hashbrowns in a restaurant we always find them kind of soggy. Hungry Jack though has made shredded hashbrowns an easy endeavor for breakfast or dinner in our home now with their new Hungry Jack Premium Hashbrowns.

Hungry Jack Premium Hashbrown Potatoes are made from 100 percent Idaho potatoes. One of our favorite breakfast meals is adding eggs to hashbrowns for a crispy underlayer to an egg on top.

The hashbrown potatoes were so simple to make. You just fill the carton to the fill line with hot tap water and let stand for 12 minutes. Then you drain the excess water, heat a skillet over medium heat, add oil (I used margarine) add your potatoes and fry till golden brown (about 4 minutes).

A carton of Hungry Jack Premium Hashbrown Potatoes typically retails for $1.79 and makes an entire pound of hashbrowns for a total of six servings.

Hungry Jack Premium Hashbrown Potatoes are available nationwide at major grocery store retailers, such as Walmart, H-E-B, Safeway, Albertsons, Kroger, Publix, Food Lion and Super Target. For a detailed list of retailers, please visit www.hungryjackpotatoes.com.
