When our daughter started college four years ago we purchased a new laptop for her to use. We did not expect to have to purchase another one two years later, but unfortunately the one we chose did not live up to our expectations. She’s limped along for a couple of years, but now she is in the market for a new one that will help her as she launches into her career path.
Amber has been looking at the HP Envy x360 laptops at Best Buy. One of the features she is most interested in is that these touch-screen laptops come with Windows Ink capabilities and so you can write on the screen with your stylus. As a recent graduate with an Arts and Technology degree, being able to do everything digitally right on the screen is so important to her.
Another option on these laptops that she is eager to explore is the 360° flip-and-fold design. This offers her the versatile functionality of it being a multi-function device to use as laptop but also in audience, tabletop, presentation and tablet modes. That’s the perfect all in one system for her to bring in projects that’s she working on to present to prospective employers, as well to use with her peers that she collaborates with.
With already having used three laptops for her studying and work purposes in the last six years, this girl knows what she wants.. and what she doesn’t 😉 Having a fast laptop is a MUST for her. The HP Envy x360 laptops have an 8GB system memory for advanced multitasking. They have substantial high-bandwidth RAM to smoothly run casual games and photo- and video-editing applications, as well as multiple programs and browser tabs all at once. With a major in video game design, that is so important to her.
Rounding it out, the HP Envy 360x laptops have a Full HD touch screen. The 1920 x 1080 resolution boasts impressive color and clarity. It incorporates IPS technology for wide viewing angles and has an energy-efficient WLED backlight. In my experience those LEDs keep working like they are new until they stop working, so no dimming over time! HP Envy 360x laptops come loaded with Windows 10 operating system. Windows 10 brings back the Start Menu from Windows 7 and introduces new features, like the Edge Web browser that lets you markup Web pages on your screen. With the natural finger-touch navigation of the laptop and touch screen this really makes the most of Windows 10.
