Hershey’s Air Delight Chocolate

Hershey’s offers a delicious new way to enjoy chocolate with their Air Delight line – one of the first aerated chocolates for the company.  Hershey’s Air Delight Chocolate has a light and airy texture designed to help chocolate lovers savor and enjoy every chocolate filled moment.

Dare I say that this is a long time in coming?  As I grew up in Canada, the British heritage of chocolate makers has long had an impact on the chocolate economy there.  Aerated chocolate was something that I had plenty of as a kid, and even as an adult when returning to visit family after moving to the U.S., my mom always makes sure that there are plenty of those aerated chocolate bars around for us to munch on!

It was a HOT day when these arrived on my doorstep – the bar is a little warped since it melted!

But now I can savor this pleasure here at home with the Hershey’s Air Delight!  I love these because the 1.44 oz single serve bar is actually a touch smaller than a regular Hershey’s bar, and when I just want a bit of a chocolate fix, they are also available in 9.4 oz. bags of Hershey’s Kisses.

Not surprisingly, these were eaten pretty quickly in our home.  They are really good, and comparable to the aerated chocolate we grew up on.  There is (as suggested in its name) a delightful melting process that occurs if you are the kind of person that ‘holds’ the chocolate in your mouth, to make the moment last longer.
