Here is a snack that will have your kids asking to eat fruit.

The Freeze-Dried Funky Monkey Fruit Snacks taste so great.  I received all seven flavors that the company offers to taste test.  I love that each package has 3 servings of fruit in it. 

They are very easy to take along with you in your purse or bag.  So if you’re out all day and the kids (or you!) want to munch on something, you don’t have to stop and pick up junk, you can let them snack on 100% real fruit.  You don’t have to worry about having them kept cool or juice dripping everywhere, which makes them fantastic for car trips too.

They are a little expensive compared to fresh or canned fruit, but I would say that the convenience of them being ultra portable is worth the extra money.  I saw them for $1.99 a bag at Target, and you can purchase them in packs of 12 (of the same flavor) for less than that on Amazon.com, or you can get a variety pack as well (which costs just a bit more).

These crunchy fruit snacks are 100% fat free too, they have no sugar added, are gluten free, kosher and many of the flavors are organic.  There are no added preservatives, coloring or flavors.  So how is it that they taste just like fresh fruit?  It’s because Funky Monkey snacks are freeze-dried, and so the nutritional benefits and flavor are locked in tight!
