You all know I’ve been trying very hard to get in shape this year. For my health and to lose some stubborn pounds that I put on six months ago over the holidays. Despite the running I’ve taken up I just can’t budge the scale. Granted I’m pretty sure all the great blog events and opportunities where they lay out a spread, birthday dinners and desserts and other ‘food’ activity I’ve taken part in the past six months haven’t helped either 😉
I’ve been looking for a ‘push start’ so to speak, to help me see some movement on the scale, and I think I’ve found it in FitTea. Natural teas like FitTea have been used all over the world for thousands of years for weight loss and increased energy which helps anyone with a fitness program.
I was all up for trying a FitTea Review when I saw their tagline:
“Give us a few weeks and we’ll give you a new waistline”
Umm yeah, I’m all about that!
This little tea bag does so much more though! Place it in a mug with nearly boiling water and steep for three to five minutes. The instructions suggest you drink a cup each morning or before a workout.
– it Boosts the immune system
– it Promotes fat burning
– it Promotes and soothes digestion
– it has Antimicrobial properties
I’ve thought of doing one or more quick loss plans before, but what concerned me about them were the ingredients that the products had or the completely ridiculous time or steps it took to get some sort of results. Since FitTea is a natural product I like the idea of using it for a detox regimen. It is also something that I’d feel comfortable recommending to my 19 year old daughter. Too many young people try off the wall and weird ways to detox or lose weight. I don’t want her to be doing strange things while she’s off at school studying that might affect her ability to study or go to classes. Since she has had issues in the past with digestion (college food ya’ll you know those kids are eating junk!), I think using this as a way to promote a healthier system all around would be a good thing for her to do when she’s feeling she has stomach issues or bloating.
When it comes right down to it though, I’m sure the question most of you (as I did as well) is “What about FitTea results?” I’m not sure how it all works, but I have seen them! Really the scale that would not budge (well it did it just went up instead of down 😉 ), in the first two days went down 1.5 pounds! And trust me when I tell you I haven’t changed anything else about the way I’ve been exercising or eating.
You’d expect something that is natural, is a detox and that actually works would taste kind of medicinal or unpalatable. FitTea however, tastes pretty good. Its ingredients of Organic Green Tea, Oolong Wu Yi, Organic Rooibos, Ginger, Pomegranate, Guarana, Birch, Stevia, Corn and Honey Powder, make it taste very much like any other herbal tea you might drink. It also smells incredibly uplifting. Even before steeping it in the hot water, just when opening the bag when you catch the scent it just makes you feel happy 🙂
These ingredients provide a fast-working and natural detox. The natural ingredients have other benefits besides detox, which includes weight loss, increased energy levels, suppressing the appetite, and natural antioxidants.
I’ve been adding a teaspoon of honey to my mug to sweeten it up just a bit, but you don’t need to do that for it to be drinkable (I’ve become a real Southerner and take the term ‘Sweet Tea’ to its fullest!). I have not tried it cold over ice yet, but I’m thinking of trying that with some of the additional tea bags that I still have left to complete my 14 day detox. I think that would be a perfect way to cool off in the hot North Texas summer.
I’m over 40 so I’ll take all the help I can get when it comes to the benefits that FitTea offers. While I’m not generally impressed with celebrity endorsements I thought this picture on Instagram from Sarah Hyland (Haley Dunphey on Modern Family) was so fun!
Now I know FitTea isn’t going to miraculously get me looking like I’m 25 again (I can wish though, right?!), still I hope that I can feel like I’m 15 years younger after completing my entire 14 day detox routine with it.
Results differ with everyone, but I am impressed with the FitTea results I’ve seen so far. I’m not finished with the entire 14 day detox yet, but am excited to see where I’ll end up with how I feel overall and of course what the numbers on the scale are. I’m already looking at purchasing the 28 day detox bag if I’m happy with my end results.
I tried this too, it actually made me totally eschew coffee (a good way to cut back on a big caffeine addiction!)
Need to give it a try. This decaf green tea thing is not working for me.
Ohhoo…. Seems effective. It seems that I should ask my mom to include this in here daily massage therapy which she had started for the betterment of her skin at 40’s. She drinks green tea every morning, I’ll tell her to have the this fit tea insists of that green tea.
thanks for sharing this with us.
