Divine is Heavenly Chocolate with a heart.  If you would like sophisticated chocolate that is Fair Trade and delicious to eat, then Divine Chocolate is a good choice. 

Divine Chocolate comes in a variety of sweet treats including Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, Flavored Chocolate, Drinking Chocolate, Dark Chocolate and Seasonal choices.

Each piece of Divine Chocolate is made with Fair Trade cocoa from the Kuapa Kokoo in Ghana.  Kuapa Kokoo has invested its Fair Trade income in building schools, sinking wells for clean dinking water to villages, providing mobile medical clinics for farmers in remote growing regions, and fostering women’s income generation projects to help women earn additional income for their families when the cocoa season is over.

There is much more information on the Divine Chocolate USA website, about how the cocoa goes from ‘Bean to Bar’, the farmers from Kuapu Kokoo and even films about them and their work.  There is also a selection of recipes and helpful baking tips when using chocolate in your recipes.

I was sent some of Divine Chocolate’s Easter confections.  These were irresistible to eat, and so delightful in appearance.  We went crazy over the the Milk Chocolate Speckled Eggs.  The candy shell is so good, and the chocolate is divine!  The 70% Dark Chocolate Mini Eggs made my husband very happy, his eyes lit up when he had one of them, and said it was amazing.  Personally, I am not a big dark chocolate fan, and don’t really care for the taste, but I know a lot of people that love it.
