My husband works weekends, so it’s not often that we get to spend family time together on the weekends, but with the Labor Day holiday, he had some time off, and so we celebrated by having an indoor Family Game Night picnic.

Why indoor you ask? Well it was unseasonably warm the other day (over 100 degrees) and WINDY! So rather than chase after our Tyson Chicken Nuggets, we decided to do our picnic in the family room.

I was able to quickly and easily put together a tasty meal with our #DipDipHooray products (Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Heinz Ketchup and Ore Ida French Fries).

After I was done with the packaging, I had my daughter upload the UPC numbers so she could unlock games and play on the DiptoPlay.com site.  They also have a sweepstakes there, where you could win a $1,000 Hasbro Game Night Grand Prize or 1 of 250 Hasbro Game First Prizes. You can find out more about that and read the rules located here: https://www.diptoplay.com/rules.aspx.

When we were done with our picnic (using paper plates, so I didn’t have any dishes to wash, which left us more time to play!), we broke out our Monopoly Zapped game to play together.

Walmart has all the #DipDipHooray (get it? Kids love to dunk chicken nuggets and fries into ketchup…Hooray!) products you need to put together Meal Solutions for your family that are easy and affordable.

They also have a great selection of Hasbro Games for your family game nights. Come see our entire #DipDipHooray shop by clicking on the photo below.

  1. We did not have family game nights but it looks as though your family really enjoys spending the time together!

  2. Finding a game that is easy enough for a 6year old but can keep a 16 year old involved too is hard. The closest we get to a game night is seeing who can stuff the most marshmallows in their mouth before mom yells "smore time!"

  3. We love having Family game & pizza nights! It is so much fun playing games with the family!

  4. Yes we love family game night. We play the Wii and Yahtzee is a huge favorite! Friday's is the night I get take out or I make chicken nugget wraps and fries. Super easy and yummy. Of course Tyson is the only brand I buy! Glad you had a fun family night!

  5. Pizza is usually our game night food, we play monopoly, twister, or video games

    Thanks for sharing!

  6. We have monopoly marathons on family game night and lately they like the apples to apples game. We usually have pizza.

  7. when we stay in and want something to do, we love the 'scene it' games…there are so many different cd's now, and i can get them at garage sales and goodwill.
