Gift Guide Pick
From the Back Cover:
You’re on the path to becoming a God Girl.
Here’s a daily map to guide each step. The God Girl is always on a journey to becoming the woman God created her to be. That means that every day, the God Girl needs time with her Creator to reflect on where she’s been, where she’s at, and where she’s going.
Devotions for the God Girl is your daily guide to choosing God’s way in every area of your life – from your thoughts and actions to your friends and faith. Each day of the year you’ll hear from God through his Word. Plus you’ll read a brief reflection from Hayley DiMarco that unpacks spiritual truths about becoming a woman of God.
You’re already on your way.
Devotions for the God Girl is intensely thought provoking, and it made me sit back and assess my own spiritual life. There were times when reading that I reflected, “I do that” (not in a good way). And, there were times I needed to admit “I should be doing that.”
I find this book to be a very important companion to a young adult’s Bible reading. While the book is aimed at young adults, I think this devotional will appeal to any woman trying to deepen her walk with Christ.
The devotions are all Biblically grounded, and each day starts off with a Scripture verse. I would definitely recommend this as a gift from a parent, grandparent or spiritual teacher to a young woman this Christmas, to start her new year off to grow as a God Girl.
