Daily Guideposts 2011 Giveaway

Spending time with God each day by way of Bible reading and through someone else’s thoughts on the subject is a time of refuge for me.  It’s amazing what happens when one spends time in the Word, the circumstances of your life might not be any different an hour later, but your attitude is, and that can make all the difference between a good day and a miserable day.

I was humbled to be able to review Daily Guideposts 2011: A Spirit-Lifting Devotional.  I’m glad I can share with you these enjoyable, engaging and thought provoking, short devotionals.  One devotion for each day of 2011, from 55 talented writers, each beginning with a Scripture verse and ending with a short prayer.

Each month has a couple of pages titled “Seeds of Love” where readers can jot down a thought or two of their own, while thinking on the daily devotion. 

There is no certain “kind” of person that this book is suitable for – it’s good for everyone.  Man or woman, young or old.  Whether you are a new Christian or have been walking with the Lord for decades, in the throes of grief or celebrating good measure, you will be encouraged and strengthened by the authors’ words.
