Okay all you FarmVille fans out there, (I know some of you have to be as addicted to this game as I am….) did you notice the new crop that was put out on Monday? Cascadian Farm has the first official branded (and organic!) crop on FarmVille, Organic Blueberries were released to be planted and harvested!
And…this is a crop that can be mastered! Alas, this new crop is only going to be around until July 26th, so plow those fields and get planting!
Here’s the details: Cost: 20 coins to plant, and you get 80 coins when you harvest them. They’re harvestable in 4 hours and get you 2 XP.
The Mastery is 200 for the first star, 400 for the second, and 600 for the third. So this is completely able to be mastered before this special crop is gone.
Take a look at my farm, I had other crops planted before so couldn’t get my whole land done, but here is my row of Cascadian Farm Organic Blueberries!
The real Cascadian Farm has also ben recreated, which is located in Washington’s North Cascade Mountains. Who knew it was a real place? The virtual Cascadian Farm will protray what the real one is all about, growing good food by harvesting crops free from fertilizers and pesticides. All of the virtual FarmVille will be planted with their organic culture ideals, and they’ll share the rewards from the game with Cascadian Farm’s fans.
They even have their own Farmer! “Farmer Joe Cascadian” and you can be his FarmVille neighbor by friending him at www.facebook.com/farmerjoecascadian and then using the app to become his in game neighbor.
I was able to try out some of Cascadian Farm’s products this past week, their Fruit & Nut Granola and the Harvest Berry Chewy Granola Bars. Let me tell you, Farmer Joe produces some yummy, safe and satisfying food over on Cascadian Farm.
Cascadian Farms through MyBlogSpark also provided me with a $10 FarmVille Cash Card along with the above products and a coupon for an additional free Cascadian Farm product. You know I’m thinking I need to get that 26 x 26 sized farm, and now I can! YIPEE!! More room for buildings and organic crops!
One of you can receive the same package courtesy of Cascadian Farm & MyBlogSpark!
