While we love living in the south, it also means that we miss out on a lot of things that our extended families do together since they all live up north.  This month my nephew got married.  As he’s the first of the children to get married on my side of the family, it was an event I was determined not to miss.  Unfortunately due to the timing of our daughter finishing up her freshman year of college, she and my husband were unable to join me on my trip up north to attend the wedding.  Isn’t it great that in this day and age though, that having over 1,ooo miles between you and your loved ones doesn’t mean that you have to miss out on everything?!  With our Walmart Best Plans mobile phone service, I was able to take pictures and text them almost in real time, so that they could join right in on the celebration!Capturing Family Memories with Walmart Family MobileThere are plenty of reasons we moved to Texas…the weather was one of them 😉  Nothing like waking up on May 18th, on a wedding day to weather like this:Walmart Best Plans let me capture memoriesWhen I uploaded that picture to Facebook and Instagram my husband just texted me back “LOL,” because the temperature at home felt like 115 degrees that day!

How did the little boy that I took to the circus and the zoo grow up so fast and is now a man starting a family of his own?
But despite the weather plenty of family memories were made that weekend.

This is my brother’s oldest son, and I haven’t seen him in over 5 years!  Although our Lowest Priced Unlimited Plans allow me to text with him regularly, it was so good to be able to see him in person. My nephew and his bride had their wedding in a barn.  It was so fun, and as the sign says…rustic!  We spent the day before helping them decorate.  It was so beautiful.  That’s my goofy niece all grown up!Capturing Family Memories with Walmart Best PlansI texted this photo right away to my husband because I was so pleased that they hung the sign I made them at the reception!

The next day before all of us out-of-towners left to go home, we all got together once again at my sister’s farm.  It was so great to spend even more time laughing together.Capturing Family Memories with Walmart Best PlansWhile capturing memories is usually something I try to do anyway, this past time my family was all together was especially important because my mom was just diagnosed with cancer in her lungs.  She started chemo 4 days after I shared these photos on Facebook with our Walmart Family Mobile Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web.  I’m so glad I we had the chance to all be together and share this photo of my parents and all of us children.I  can’t thank my siblings enough for making sure Mom is alright during this difficult journey in her life, and right now I am so thankful for our affordable data plan with Walmart Family Mobile.  Currently the plan costs $29.88/month for the first line with Unlimited Talk, Text & Data/Web service plan and that includes up to 1G of 4G LTE data.* If you prefer to have 3GB you can upgrade to that for a bit more money. There is never a contract and if you find you need more or less data you can always upgrade or downgrade your plan.  I find the Walmart Family Mobile phone service is reliable in allowing me to keep in touch with what’s going on with my far away family, but also the savings help us afford other things, like another plane ticket for me to go visit again in July and check in on my mom. You’ll find the Walmart Family Mobile display in the Electronics section at Walmart stores.  There are plenty of phones to choose from, many of which have a low price point but still a lot of great features.  Here are a few of them:
