I just finished reading one of the most fun books ever.  Bugs in My Hair.

Shannon peppers his hilarious scenes with fun, “nitpicking” facts about these “lousy” critters and pokes fun at common denial: “It’s probably ash from that volcano in Pogo Pogo.”

I was smiling the whole time I was reading it.  It was the kind of smile that finds its way to a mom’s face because she dreads the “L” word.  Much to my own surprise it’s a great way to make a lice situation a bit more tolerable.  I’ve thankfully never (yet) had to go through the process of eradicating lice in our home, but I had a scare one year.
