Bound For Barcelona – Sea Day 5

Our fifth day at sea was another day where we chose not to do very much.  We went to the theater and watched Sherlock Holmes.  I admit to having been a bit tired and dozed off during the movie!  I did think it was good though.  Amber really liked it and watched it again on the plane home from Barcelona to Atlanta.

Today was the day Hubby and I celebrated our 16th Anniversary.  What a neat way to celebrate, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean!

The evening show is a new one on the Disney Magic.  Only a couple of cruises saw it as a soft opening before it was performed on the Transatlantic cruise.  Villains Tonight! is a musical where the malevolent world of Disney villians takes a comic spin.

I thought the show was just okay, and thought it would be a little scary for younger kids.  The people in the row behind us took their child out part way through, not sure if that was the reason or not though.  I didn’t really care for the premise of the show which is about Hades (from the movie Hercules), needing to become more evil to continue to rule the Underworld.

  1. Happy Anniversary 🙂 What a wonderful place to spend it. Sounds like a great trip.
