Barber Foods Chicken Grillables – Grill Giveaway

Barber Foods Stuffed Chicken Products have been a staple in our home from the first time I bought them.  I always have packages of the Chicken Cordon Bleu and/or Chicken Kiev in my freezer, because they are such an easy, delicious meal, plus I love to serve them when we have company, everyone enjoys them so much, and I don’t have to worry about slaving over the oven all day.

What I didn’t know is that Barber Foods also has a product called Chicken Grillables.  I’ve never had a chance to buy it, since it’s a product that isn’t locally available to me.  (I’m planning on requesting my local stores start carrying it too!)  This healthy option for dinner is another easy product to make.

Hubby put this on the grill, while I made the sides, and in about 20 minutes from start to finish we had dinner on the table.

Chicken Grillables come in a package of four 1/4 pound all white chicken patties.  Frozen in packs of 2, I was impressed right from the get go that they weren’t all stuck together, when we took them out to grill.  Hubby was equally impressed that they didn’t stick to the grill while he was making them.

They are lightly seasoned, so you don’t need to add anything to them either, it’s just the right amount of flavor, not too strong, but you don’t feel the need to add sauce or ketchup or anything to them, they taste great on their own.  Each chicken piece has 140 calories and only 5 grams of fat.  (That’s just 3 Weight Watchers points for those who count!)

So here’s the lowdown on a quick meal.  One pack of Chicken Grillables (12 minutes on the grill), some steamed sweet corn (takes about 5 minutes to make), and pre-made mashed potatoes placed in a greased casserole dish, sprinkled with shredded cheese (place that in the oven on 350 for 15 minutes) then top it off with bacon bits.  That’s it!  Comfort food goodness in less than 20 minutes!

However if you want to try something new or maybe a bit more adventurous try out some of the Side Dish Recipes that Barber Foods has on their site.  Apricot Couscous or Chive Green Beans sound delicious!

So are you wondering where you can pick up these Chicken Grillables?  Head over to the product page, and on the right hand side you can find the store nearest you.  Don’t forget to get a printable coupon for your next purchase while you’re there too.
