I don’t know about you, but every year ‘back-to-school’ seems to come up quickly and surprises me! This year in an effort to produce less waste, we’ve taken on the goal of having litterless lunches. In the past I’ve been the queen of disposable packaging, but I want my family to follow the 3 R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle) and I’m starting that with lunch!
For our daughter the way I’ve done that is with this amazing Funkins lunch bag.
Funkins supplied me with product for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.
Funkins Lunch Bags keep food fresh, cool, and ready to go, making lunch that much more exciting (because we all know lunch time is the best time)! Each bag is thoughtfully designed with interior patterns, soft handles, durable zippers, reinforced seams, interior labels and a convenient interior pocket. Needless to say the Ninja print was a total hit with her.
It even fits our larger entrée size Bento Box in it!
My kid is a bit of a sloppy mess when it comes to eating, so I’m glad Funkins also has coordinating napkins available!
I love these napkins, they’re a good size at 12″x12″. Funkins napkins are 100% cotton, super soft, durable and washable (they also have placemats!) that fit perfectly on small laps or tables. Protect your kids from unknown germs and stains, all while reducing waste!
I’m not going to lie, good quality lunch bags and cloth napkins are definitely an investment, but these should last for years. The Funkins lunch bags range from $19.95- $29.95 (the Ninja print pictured in this post is $29.95) and the napkins are $14.95 for the set of four. If you’re worried about your child ‘outgrowing’ a print, they have a number of patterns that will carry over from early elementary to even into middle school years.
