Making your own marinade is easy. Not only does it tenderize your meat, it also adds a lot of flavor. Marinaded meat tastes super when it is grilled, but you can also bake it with good results.
With the below recipe, I marinaded some pork loin chops it for a couple of hours and then baked them at 350 for 35 minutes. It’s okay for pork to be a little pink after cooking, just make sure you cook it to an internal temperature of 145 degrees.
- 1 cup apple juice
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar,
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 tsp fine sea salt
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Mix all ingredients together. Marinade meat in mixture for at least 2 hours to as long as overnight.

I always have apple juice on hand so this is great.
Excellent recipe! I substituted 1 tbsp of organic blood orange honey in place of brown sugar (my son is diabetic) and freshly juiced pink lady apples- Our family loved them! Thank you for sharing your recipe with us!
Can I make this marinade instead of marinating the meat can I put it in my crock pot than cook the pork loin right in the marinade
I guess you could – the flavor would likely not be as intense though.
