In early November I had the chance to go to the 2014 Moms Meet WOW Summit. If you’re unfamiliar with Moms Meet they are a company that works with brands to get the opinions of consumers (like you and me!) by supplying a “mom” with samples and she hosts a sampling time to share the product with her friends and family. It’s an easy thing to do with no pressure, and the companies Moms Meet works with genuinely want to know your feedback, good AND bad. Pssst.. if you’re a blogger they have a program for you too! The brands they work with are primarily green, organic & all natural and they vet them before they ever get to a Moms Meet sampling. The truth is, if they wouldn’t use the product in their own homes or feed to their families, it’s not going to make the cut.
The conference took place in Orlando at the Caribe Royale. It was a beautiful resort to spend a weekend away from home (although the wifi had much to be desired!). A big thank you to Moms Meet, because they covered my hotel room and my conference ticket.
They had a fantastic line up of speakers, from the keynote Robyn O’Brien and Traci Paige Johnson. Traci is the creative mind AND voice behind “Blues Clues.” Yep, even though my “baby” is 18, I thought it was pretty awesome to ‘meet’ Blue and hear her speak “bwa bwa bwa-bwa bwah bwah” ← Yes you are to read that in your “Blue” voice. Traci is the head of Yummico, which has a few new shows on the horizon for the little ones that are sure to be well recevied by parents.
There were an abundance of great companies in attendance sponsoring the event. Brands like Applegate, Toys R Us, Maty’s, Zevia, Sweet Leaf and Party-Tizer just to name a few. With some great informative sessions on product and ingredient awareness as well as sessions on how to grow our blogs, it was pretty interesting all around.

I also got to meet up with Pam my blogging friend who writes over at Simple Southern Mom and met a new friend Carlee from Frugal and Fun Mom. The three of us had a really fun evening shopping and eating in Downtown Disney.
If you want to sign up to be a Moms Meet Ambassador or a Moms Meet Blogger visit http://www.greenmomsmeet.com/about-moms-meet/. Be on the lookout for some posts from the sponosors that were at the 2014 Moms Meet WOW Summit on my blog in the future. Also keep your eyes and ears peeled for the 2015 Moms Meet WOW Summit. It likely will take place around the same time of year. There is sure to be a great line up again, and if you do attend, here’s a tip to make sure you bring a BIG bag to check your luggage, the swag bag they send you home with is chocked FULL of great samples and products from brands they work with.
